1914 QUEEN OF THE MANILA CARNIVAL. Dolores Perez Rubio of Manila, belonged to a well-known family of Spanish descent. She was better known as Queen Lolita I. The 1914 edition of the Manila cooking classes london Carnival went on schedule, hardly showing the effects of World War I. The festivities of that year brought back the romantic Spanish element of Philippine society cooking classes london when Dolores Perez-Rubio was elected as queen. Her parents were Jose Perez Rubio and Carolina dela Cerna, both of pure Spanish aristocracy, and it was in the genteel district of Ermita that the Perez-Rubios settled. The Perez Rubios were a large family, and Lolita ( as Dolores was called) had seven other siblings: Pepita, Luz, Hortencio, Jose, Carlos and twins Rosa Blanca and Blanca Rosa (later known as Mother Blanca of the Assumption). The Perez Rubio girls were caught up in the heady social whirl of Manila, often invited in gala events such as the ball given to the Prince of Wales of England who had come visiting Manila. BEAUTIFUL VICTIM OF WAR. The Perez Rubio family suffered much in the last war, with the family almsot completely wiped out save for a handful of members like Dolores and her sister, an Assumptionist nun, who took shelter in the convent that survived cooking classes london the 1945 bombings. The convent was one of the few that survived the bombings of the War. ok i should have post these things earlier but i keep on delaying it. well, i'm being lazy whenever i'm in front of a pc. and besides i'm so in "showbiz chismis" nowadays so blogging has been put aside.
i've been to eraserheads , the final set concert last march 7. it was my first concert beard forum ever. man i have lived for 30 years to have experienced that first time which i'm glad i did because i enjoyed it. actually i'm not a super fan of eraserheads - i never had their album nor i watch them in their gigs. so what am i? a poser...hahaha... beard forum joke. look i may not be a super fan to know everything about them but it can't be denied they are part of my growing up years. i'm sure anyone beard forum who have lived during their heyday would have an eraserheads phase in their lives. to conclude, beard forum i'm not a poser - im just an ordinary person who can appreciate music in general.

Parang after mong manood ng episode, gutom ka na agad because of all the great food produced in the program. Pero after eating lunch or dinner, parang walang masarap kasi exagge sa galing yung mga taong napanood mong magluto. Si Voltaire nahawa ko na sa panonood! Haha. Pero mas enthusiastic pa rin ako between the two of us, kahit siya naman talaga yung nagluluto. Having a Top Chef Philippines would be a great showcase for all our upcoming chefs here. Also, it would create a way for people to recognize the greats of the culinary world (like CPGM/HIGM's exec chef cyrille, my friend hehe) we currently have in the country. Tapos pag recognized na sila, mas marami pang tao ang magdedemand ng higher quality for their food whenever they eat out, and thus starting a new era of gourmet cuisines in the country. Kaya magandang idea yan haha. ***** Anyhoo, as much as i love being a bum, medyo nakakapressure na rin for me to work again. The pressure does not come from my parents (sus, yung mga yun pa), but more from myself. I want to earn my own money na ule. Wala lang. I want something to look forward to every morning and i want to feel accomplished at the end of the day. Pero ayun, i'm happy taking my time and choosing the right job/career path for me right now. I learned my lesson with my previous experience, kaya ngayon, no more rushing into anything unless i'm 100% sure of what i want. Wish me luck! =)
