Sarah, 14 years old, a high school student and his family to this state for a few years now. Previously she was a bad spot all subjects and do not exercise to go home. At last she came to after school programs, Viet-AID Scholarly Program for Youth (VSPY), I do not believe I can learn and depressed. We worked with Sarah, her parents the art institute of california and her teachers at school. After her studies after school program for a month, Sarah's teacher emailed us. She was glad that Sarah has achieved high marks all subjects. Now, Sarah not only complete assignments for their home but also their classmates anymore. I have found myself well up, become confident, self-care for both themselves and others.
Sarah achieved what seemed small, but can have a great impact on my future. There are many immigrant families like Sarah's family, not familiar with the school system the art institute of california in a new place and face language barriers. The factors that cause difficulties for the child's learning.
