The book tells of the time before World War II, the venue of rural England and the London 1920-1930's. The main character Cassia Fallon gets a great heritage godmother. He is able to change their lives with money, to pursue medical studies cooking show and to buy their own car and a house in London. Money also cause pressure. When making choices is always cooking show to give up something. cooking show Cassia is working hard and studying. Her doctor-husband is against everything, even the circuit cooking show is monitored for life with Cassia in London again his youth with his friends inevitably comes from. Husband refuses to almost every invitation. He hates rich people's life. He just wants to make medical work in rural hospitals. This is a book that actually already forget after a while, as I guess many other books, but when I started to read it, the story is read to the end.
