NASA is, as always, looners the trusted provider of weird and peculiar vessels, as their cargo planes that most resembles a flying whale. The plane is called the Super Guppy and has room for all the shuttles in his stomach.
The plane that rarely come out in the open, and that has never before left the Johnson Space Center in Houston, was used the other day when NASA would carry a replica of the space shuttle orbiter looners to an aviation museum in Seattle.
I saw a white version flying in Germany in late May;-)
Thanks looners for the info .. moreover I have seen just such a superguppy at Hamburg Finkenwerder Airport a few years ago .. but it gives, looners of course, makes sense since Airbus among other things, has a factory in addition to the large factory in Toulouse.
