The 10 anniversary of the adoption of Law 10.639 / 03, which requires public schools and private teaching of History and Afro-Brazilian Culture and Africa just received a detailed study to assess the level of implementation in schools across the country. The survey was made possible by the initiative of CEERT - Studies Center of the Labour Relations and Inequalities, which promotes Educate Award for Racial Equality, which has already awarded over six editions 2,300 achievements of schools and teachers at all levels except higher. The goal is to map, analyze, systematize and disseminate these educational practices, dealing with the race issue. The study has the support of SECADI - Department of Continuing Education, Literacy, Diversity and Inclusion and UNESCO's Education Sector.
